Validity of Agreement
By checking the “I Agree” box and completing the order, the shipper confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions set forth herein.
Scope of Services
This service constitutes a cross-border logistics and delivery solution. Dong Yu International Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "DYL") shall be responsible for international freight transportation, customs clearance operations, and last-mile destination delivery. All customs clearance operations shall be executed strictly in accordance with the statutory customs regulations of the respective import/export countries.
Shipper's Responsibility
The shipper assumes full responsibility for providing accurate, truthful, and complete recipient information and cargo declaration details. DYL shall bear no liability for any service delays, customs detentions, forced returns, or administrative fines arising from erroneous, fraudulent, or incomplete data submission; all associated liabilities and costs shall be borne solely by the shipper.
Packaging and Specifications
A. Packaging Requirements: The shipper must ensure all cargo is securely packed in durable packaging suitable for international transportation. DYL assumes no liability for damage resulting from insufficient, defective, or improper packaging.
B. Dimensional Limitations: The parcel must comply with strict size limits: no single side shall exceed 45 cm, and the total dimensions (Length + Width + Height) shall not exceed 105 cm.
C. Weight Limitations: The standard weight per parcel is 3 kg (subject to final verification at DYL’s official warehouse scale). Parcels exceeding this limit will incur additional overweight charges based on the destination region.
Delivery and Shipping Schedule
Transit and shipping schedules are estimates only and vary based on cargo dispatch times, commercial flight schedules, customs inspection processing time, and local destination delivery conditions. Shipments may experience delays due to public holidays, flight adjustments, or peak season congestion. The definitive delivery timeline remains contingent upon the operational capacity of the final terminal service providers.
Shipment Tracking and Inquiries
DYL provides milestone tracking services for shipments. The tracking data displayed within the official system shall serve as the definitive reference, though updates may experience latency due to local operational procedures. Please note that real-time tracking information may not be fully supported for specific transport segments or remote geographic areas.
Delivery and Receipt
A shipment is legally deemed successfully delivered and completed upon receiving a physical or digital signature from the recipient or their designated third-party representative, or once the standard drop-off procedure has been executed in full compliance with localized postal and delivery courier standards.
Refusal, Rejection, and Disposal of Shipments
DYL will facilitate the return of shipments under reasonable circumstances, provided that all return shipping costs and administrative costs are fully indemnified by the shipper. In the event that a shipment cannot be successfully delivered or returned due to an unreachable recipient, incorrect address, refusal of acceptance by the consignee, failure to pass customs clearance, or any other factor beyond DYL's reasonable control, DYL reserves the absolute right to abandon, dispose of, or redirect the cargo at its sole discretion. The shipper waives all rights to object or claim compensation, and DYL shall bear no liability for damages or losses resulting therefrom.
Prohibited and Restricted Items
A. Strictly Prohibited Items: Narcotics, illicit substances, firearms, ammunition, explosives, highly flammable materials (including pressurized gas canisters, aerosol sprays), live animals or plants, perishable or fresh food items, physical currency, marketable securities, precious metals/valuables, and any other contraband or high-risk materials restricted under international law.
B. Restricted High-Risk Items (Limited Liability): Lithium batteries, liquids, powders, and fragile commodities are classified as high-risk cargo. DYL explicitly disclaims liability for any leakage, breakage, or operational anomalies occurring during international transit or statutory customs inspections.
Customs Clearance
All cross-border cargo must undergo customs inspections. The risk of unpredictable customs detentions, asset seizures, forced returns, or tariff re-assessments resulting from governmental sovereign action shall be assumed exclusively by the shipper.
Division of Service Responsibilities
A. FamilyMart's Scope: FamilyMart is solely responsible for the physical acceptance of package drop-offs at domestic retail stores and the primary collection of standardized initial shipping fees. FamilyMart assumes no liability for subsequent transit phases.
B. DYL's Scope: DYL assumes full end-to-end liability for subsequent international multi-modal transportation, customs brokerage operations, and terminal destination delivery, aligned strictly with its defined logistical service boundaries.
Terms and Conditions for Claims and Damages
A. Claim Filing Window: All formal cargo claims must be submitted exclusively in writing within 30 calendar days from the original date of shipment dispatch. DYL shall be completely released from liability for any claims lodged beyond this mandatory limitation period.
B. Liability Valuation Cap: The maximum aggregate compensation payable by DYL for any individual shipment (per unique tracking number) shall be capped at USD 60.00 (or its regional currency equivalent).
C. General Exclusions from Liability: No compensation or reimbursement shall be granted for damages caused by inadequate or defective packaging, the inherent fragility of glassware/ceramics, natural food spoilage, statutory customs border seizures, or shipper-side typographical and declaration errors.
D. Force Majeure: DYL shall not be held liable for service failures, routing disruptions, or cargo losses arising from incidents of Force Majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labor strikes, government trade embargoes, or epidemic-related border closures.
Privacy and Legal Compliance
The shipper explicitly consents to DYL collecting, processing, and utilizing their personal data (including but not limited to legal name, mobile contact numbers, identification details, and email addresses) within the necessary operational scope of rendering these cross-border services, including disclosure to authorized third-party logistics partners. Furthermore, the shipper guarantees total compliance with all applicable statutory import/export regulations and customs laws. Any legal liabilities, fines, or losses stemming from regulatory violations or fraudulent declarations shall be borne entirely by the shipper.
